CTI PFAN screens business plans, selects the most economically viable and environmentally beneficial projects, and provides multiple rounds of coaching and guidance before projects are presented to investors. CTI PFAN is now working on more than 302 clean energy projects across Asia, Africa, Latin America and CIS & Central Asia. Globally, CTI PFAN has raised over USD 802 million of investment for 68 clean energy projects and contributed to the establishment of annual greenhouse gas (GHG) mitigation of 2.6 million tonnes CO2 e p.a.

For investors, CTI PFAN offers compelling opportunities to access a select group of investment-ready clean energy projects with attractive potential returns, and verified environmental and development benefits.

Network membership is free and open to all applicants (Especially investors based in regions and countries of PFAN operations) who can demonstrate a track record in raising finance for clean energy and climate change projects. Please note that during the transition to UNIDO/REEEP hosting arrangement for the new PFAN, membership applications may be asked to wait until the transition is complete.

Africa Climate Change Programme Stream (ACCPS) Forum – 1 December 2016 (TBC) [Registration starts in November 2016]

The Africa Climate Change Programme Stream (ACCPS) Forum will be held  in Nairobi, Kenya on 1 December 2016 (date to be confirmed).

 

The outline of the Investor Forum is as follows:

The main attraction of ACCPS is the Investor Forum which will showcase investor ready projects from the Sub-Saharan African countries which have been specially groomed through the intensive PFAN project development and preparation process. Each project will make a 15-minute investment pitch presentation to assembled investors and there will be ample networking sessions for investors to interact with project developers. The forum will be run in a business plan competition format with a panel of independent judges choosing the best projects for receipt of the ACCPS Climate Change Financing Awards.

 

The ACCPS is Africa’s premier climate change investment showcase. Participating projects were selected through a rigourous evaluation process having submitted to a call for proposals. Fifteen projects were shortlisted and are receiving dedicated support and assistance from PFAN professional financing advisors to help structure bankable business plans and professional investment pitches. The best projects from this shortlist will present at the ACCPS Investor Forum in December 2016.

Asia Forum for Clean Energy Financing (AFCEF-7) Forum – 10 Febuary 2017 [Registration starts in December 2016]

The 7th Asia Forum for Clean Energy Financing (AFCEF-7) Forum will be held  in Singapore on 10 February 2017.

 

The outline of the Investor Forum is as follows:

The main attraction of AFCEF-7 is the Investor Forum which will showcase 12 investor ready projects from the Asian region which have been specially groomed through the intensive PFAN project development and preparation process. Each project will make a 15-minute investment pitch presentation to assembled investors and there will be ample networking sessions for investors to interact with project developers. The forum will be run in a business plan competition format with a panel of independent judges choosing the best projects for receipt of the AFCEF-7 Clean Energy Financing Awards.
