Innovative Clean Energy Projects Presented to Investors in Jakarta
Eight clean energy projects were presented to international and local investors and financial institutions at the PFAN Indonesia Clean Energy Investor Forum on July 12, 2010. The forum attracted more than 240 financiers, clean energy experts and representatives of financial institutions from the Indonesia and across the region. These projects represent a total investment value of $200 million, would provide installed power capacity of 74 MW, and would reduce Indonesia’s greenhouse gas emissions by more than 115,000 metric tons of CO2 equivalent a year, with the same impact as taking more than 21,000 cars off the road annually. PFAN is a multilateral, public-private partnership initiated by the Climate Technology Initiative (CTI) in cooperation with the UNFCCC Expert Group on Technology Transfer.
